About the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry is the state’s only dental school, and the only dental school in the northern tier of states between Wisconsin and the Pacific Northwest. As such, we are a regional resource to five states for dental education, consulting services, patient treatment, and ongoing continuing dental education. We educate general dentists and dental specialists, dental therapists, dental hygienists, dental educators and research scientists. Our mission is to improve oral and craniofacial health by educating clinicians and scientists who translate knowledge and experience into clinical practice.

Continuing Education

Housed in the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Continuing Dental Education (CDE) offers over 160 educational experiences annually for approximately 7,000 dental professionals in the United States, Canada and abroad. Guest clinicians and local faculty present lecture, demonstration and participation programs in all the clinical disciplines for every dental team member.

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider.

ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
